Kasarpani is
a form of Bodhisattva
Avalokitesvara with two hands and one face.
Bodhisattva
Avalokitesvara is the most popular deity of Tibet,
the land of snows. All Tibetan people
young or old chant his incantation. The majority of the
Tibetan and Mongolian Buddhists regard the Dalai Lama as
the imanation of Avalokitesvara.
Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, Manjusri and Vajrapani are considered to be the supreme deities representing great
compassion, wisdom and strength.
His
incantation has great virtue. Chanting the mantra, the follower
can eliminate diseases, punishments and
fear of unexpected death. He can lengthen his span of life
and become rich. At his deathbed, he can be reborn as a human
being or as one of the God. Practicing Buddhism
he can have many virtues.
